Oliver loved

Snuggle me lounger: controversially, Oliver slept in this safely, both while supervised and unsupervised. This was the only product that enabled him to sleep for longer periods through the night, which enabled dads to sleep for longer periods at night. This product is not recommended for babies while caregivers sleep or are not supervising.
Love to Dream swaddle sleep sacks: Oliver ONLY liked to sleep with arms up. We learned this after a lot of trial and error. He used this sleep sack until we transitioned into a toddler sleep sack.
Avent Pacifier: Oliver wasn't into pacifiers. When he was a newborn, this was the only brand he accepted. Within a few months, he rejected all pacifiers.
- WubbaNub: Having a pacifier connected to his "no drama llama" helped it stay in his mouth.
- Soothie snuggle pacifier: possible better alternative .

ErgoPouch Sleep Suit Bag: Hand-me-down. We use these instead of a blanket. Prevents climbing out of the crib. :)

Kirkland Signature ProCare Non-GMO Infant Formula (Costco): The hospital staff started him on Similac Pro-Advance, and Oliver reacted well to it - the Kirkland band is the generic version. Wirecutter chose this formula as "our pick." At $20 per container, this was the best value. We chose not to go down the organic or "European" path, as tempting as it was.

Lovevery play gym: It's beautiful and well-made. We used it daily.
Lovevery play kits: Age-appropriate toys that were automatically shipped to us? Yes, please. However, we didn't use all of them as intended. I desperately wanted to be the perfect Montessori parent.

Note: No matter what toys you buy, the kid will be more interested in what's in your kitchen drawers. Perhaps I should have stored Oliver's toys in the kitchen drawers instead.

Update (2023): We still subscribe to these kits and they still contain great toys.

Little Climber: It took until ~18 months for Oliver to have the motor skills to climb and slide.
Lovevery Stroller: Surprisingly sturdy. Helped Oliver transition from supported walking to independent walking.

Ergobaby carrier: Oliver loved being in a carrier. We chose this brand early on because it was on sale. No complaints.
